MdTA GIS Asset Analyses and Database Management

When the Maryland Transportation Authority made the bold decision to provide all their employees with access to geospatial data and document services using Google Earth Enterprise, CEM was there to help. Our goal was to provide a low-cost approach to identifying and addressing daily and long-term data management needs for transportation infrastructure. Our database solution provides direct access to daily operational documents, such as plats and deeds, and is the first project in the state of Maryland to address the geospatial data needs of an agency through the use of Google Earth.
